Wedding Dj Directory Photography

The wedding day is probably the top memory for people to try and keep alive; now with digital wedding photography it is easy for wedding photographers to almost instantly save and show the couple the images from the wedding. DVD's have replaced video and digital photography film but that does not stop people from enjoying printed still images! Most wedding photographers have assistants so they can create a wedding album that will be memorable but if you want to take pictures of a friend's wedding, who will help you? So, if you need some help for a wedding you are to attend and you are going to use a digital camera, then you may find some useful information in this article.

Firstly, if you want to take a picture of the couple or any other guest, make sure that the background is good and the shot will not be too crowded. Portrait images (those that show just head and shoulders) can be very effective especially if the background is hardly in the shot. Spectacled guests can be a problem as glare from their glasses obscures their eyes and reflects back at the camera. Although some interesting effects can be achieved when you take a picture of a subject with the light behind them this may not be the right occasion to experiment so make sure the light is behind you when you take your shot.

A zoom lens will often enable you to take pictures that would not otherwise be possible as people are not so conscious of their photo being taken. As you can't keep asking people to pose for you, always have the camera to hand because digital wedding photography is just as much about having natural, un-posed for shots. The last thing you want to happen is for your digital camera to have half charged batteries and a memory card that is already half full as it will restrict how many shots you can take. As a general rule, if your camera is a 6 mega pixel resolution then you will need a large storage capacity card that will hold a few hundred shots at high resolution so a 1 gigabyte card should be sufficient.

If you intend to have the pictures blown up to a large size you will need to ensure your cameras resolution is set to maximum. You can do this by saving albums on your personal computer to free up the space on your memory card or burn them to a CD or DVD. If you have a passion for photography and a good relationship with the two people getting married then your digital wedding photography images should come out just fine.
